Centrally located in the Madawska Valley, the Ash Grove Inn provides the opportunty to partake in a multitude of activities and sights. Whether you're interested in the outdoors, adventure, history, or just enjoy experiencing the local atmosphere through shopping in local stores, there is something for everyone to do in the Madawaska Valley and it's surrounding area.

Across the road from The Ash Grove Inn there is a public beach and playground for families to enjoy. A boat launch is located just around the corner for those who enjoy water activites and the Ash Grove dock allows you to leave your water craft in the water during your stay.

Spring, Summer and Autumn are great for hiking, swimming, cycling, whitewater rafting, golfing, ATVing, and boating. Winter in Barry's Bay provides snowmobile enthusiasts with some of the best trails in Ontario, for those staying with us, the snowmobile trail E109 passes right through the front lawn. There are also many cross country skiing trails and outdoor rinks in the area.
